Jeff had never before tried Knightsbridge Shaving Cream, so we were excited to hear what he thought.
“This was my first use of Knightsbridge shaving cream. I have to admit I am more of a shaving soap guy, and I don’t often use shaving cream (I just don’t find the performance of creams to be as good) but I was pleasantly surprised with this cream. Performance was surprising good, I’d even say one of the better creams I’ve used. ”
The performance he’s talking about is our unique formula that helps to moisturize and protect your skin, all while giving you a comfortably close shave.
“The great thing about creams is they produce thick, pillowy clouds of lather with little to no effort, and this cream was no exception and it provided plenty of protection. Where this cream really shines is the slickness and residual slickness - it was excellent.
Knightsbridge Shaving Cream can be applied with a brush or with your hands, and you’ll get a great lather either way. With our shaving cream, a little cream goes a long way – meaning you get more shaves out of each bowl.
“First off, the scent was a wonderful, classic, masculine type scent (actual scent notes are Cedar, Bergamot, Lemon, Patchouli, and Vetiver essential oils). Scent strength is on the strong side of medium, and to be honest I don’t think I’d want it any stronger.”
He's right - our Signature fragrance is a blend of Cedar, Bergamot, Lemon, Patchouli, and Vetivert essential oils to create a masculine scent reminisce of the scent of a barbershop. It’s our take on an old barbershop classic tradition – or as pop would say, your musk.
“Post shave was also excellent. I tend to have dry skin and this left my skin feeling soft and moisturized. I really didn’t need a post shave product, but where’s the fun in that?
Overall I was quite impressed with this cream and it will be added into the regular rotation.”
